Frenkie De Jong pulled out an impressive performance against Osasuna. He started the match as an interior midfielder and was later made to play as a centre-back. The Dutchman was constantly getting into the box, providing an option for the pass, and sometimes providing the right pass as well. He created the chance for the second goal with a long ball over the top for Raphinha. The 25-year-old produced another good display in this match and will be looking to continue the same form after the World Cup.
Everything that could have gone wrong for Barcelona went wrong in the first half. They were reduced to ten men and were trailing by a goal. But they came back well in the second half to get a five-point lead at the top of the table. Osasuna, on the other hand, would feel like they should have won this game as they had numerical superiority and created more danger.
