Mallorca v Celta Vigo – Betting Preview

Mallorca Summary

Mallorca is sitting in a comfortable midtable spot and the mood and confidence are strong at the club. They are trying to stay focused on the ultimate goal which is to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle come May.

Aguirre is determined to win this type of match as they have a difficult February ahead, which includes league encounters with Real Madrid and Villarreal.

Real Mallorca faces Celta Vigo with no Injury absences but there is one suspension. Kang In Lee is banned due to an accumulation of bookings, but on a positive note  Íñigo Ruiz de Galarreta is fully recovered and can come into the side.

Aguirre did not reveal who would replace Kang in Lee, but did state in his press conference that Amath would begin against Celta.

Celta Summary

Carlos Carvalhal is starting to get a tune out of his team having been recently appointed at Celta Vigo. They got a credible and momentum-building draw against Villarreal last time out and are now three matches without losing.

Celta had gained a massively important win over basement club Elche in the league match before drawing at home to Villarreal, so the confidence is improved.

They will fly to Mallorca determined to get a win and continue to move away from the drop zone in this Friday night contest.

There are no injury concerns or suspensions and so the manager has the luxury of keeping an unchanged team.

Óscar Mingueza has a minor knock and didn’t train fully this week, though the local press expects him to continue in their defence.

Some unforced changes are possible. Strand Larsen and Paciencia are pressing for spots. All things considered, team news is all positive for the away club.
