Frenkie De Jong had a brilliant game on Saturday. He was at the heart of the passing network and used his dribbling skills to drive forward with the ball. His incredible technical quality and calmness under pressure were on display as he eased past challenges and took the ball forward. The Dutchman scored in the 68th minute to give Barcelona a two-goal cushion.
Frenkie De Jong later switched to a more defensive role when Sergio Busquets was taken off. All in all, he is proving why the decision to not let him go in the summer was a good one from Barcelona.
