Italy has secured victory in the series against Belgium in the Euro quarterfinals with 1-0 games. The series was decided with a 2-1 (2-1) win away.
It was 0-0 until Italy took the lead just after the half-hour mark through Nicolo Barella, who scored, with an assist by Marco Verratti, making it 0-1.
The team increased the lead to 0-2 just before the half-time whistle as Lorenzo Insigne scored.
Straight after the break, Romelu Lukaku found the net and reduced the score for Belgium. However, Belgium were unable to make more of an impression. The 1-2 goal was the last goal of the game.
