Real Sociedad pulled one back again in the 85th minute of the game as Mikel Oyarzabal scored. The team were unable to score any more goals.
Barcelona increased the lead to 4-2 just five minutes later as Sergi Roberto scored, with an assist by Martin Braithwaite. This brought the final score to 4-2.
Barca will host Athletic Club on Saturday. Sociedad will face Rayo Vallecano at Reale Arena on Sunday.
